They've totally recreated all the trendy Korean accessories, food, and beauty products here. The supermarket is super cheap too. It really feels just like being in Korea! My five-day Japan-Korea trip was unforgettable.

JRA Kyoto Racecourse
JRA Kyoto Racecourse is considered one of Japan’s leading horse racing venues. With expansive turf and dirt tracks, it hosts a wide range of races, including GI events such as the Tenno Sho (Spring), Queen Elizabeth II Cup, and Kikuka Sho. Its biggest appeal is the spacious grandstand, where you can watch top-class racehorses thunder past up close.
The whole place feels new and huge, and the atmosphere is super lively. Even if you don’t know anything about horse racing, it’s still a really fun place to walk around.
It’s clean, the facilities are modern, and there are lots of food options. There’s also a grassy area and spaces for families, so it’s a great spot to visit on a day off and experience the excitement of horse racing in Japan. -
Kazurabashi Bridge (Fukui Prefecture)
Ikeda Town in Fukui Prefecture is home to abundant nature and beautiful satoyama countryside scenery. Spanning the Asuwa River, where trees seem to arch overhead, is a rare suspension bridge made from kazura vines, measuring 44 m long, 1.8 m wide, and 12 m high.
The bridge is woven from vines, so it sways when you walk on it, and the gaps under your feet aren’t small either. Looking down can definitely make your legs feel weak.
This isn’t the kind of spot for a relaxing stroll. It’s more of a place to test your courage a little. -
Itadaki no Mori (The Summit Forest)
Located in Shinhotaka Onsen in the Okuhida Onsenkyo area of Takayama City, this ropeway offers a spectacular journey through the skies. From Shinhotaka Onsen Station to Nishihotakaguchi Station, visitors transfer between the First and Second Ropeways to enjoy a 3,200-meter ride with breathtaking alpine views.
This isn't one of those spots packed with tourists, so it's really quiet and chill. When the weather's nice, sunlight streams through the trees and it looks absolutely beautiful—seriously, every photo looks like a scene from a K-drama. If you want a place to relax, take a slow walk, and breathe in some fresh air, this place is just perfect.
