Universal Studios Japan
Universal Studios Japan, nicknamed “USJ”, is a large-scale theme park with entertainment for everyone, both children and adults alike. The park is separated into different areas, each with a different theme from popular titles across the world.
The lines for rides like Buzz Lightyear, Jurassic Park, and Spider-Man were super long, but totally worth it! Everything was so much fun. There are even more new attractions now. Once I can travel again, I definitely want to go back!

Chibi Maruko-chan Land
Japan’s one and only museum dedicated to the beloved manga “Chibi Maruko-chan” is located in Shizuoka, the hometown of the series’ creator Momoko Sakura. Inside you’ll find 3 different zones to explore.
Chibi Maruko-chan is just adorable! It's such a nostalgic part of so many people's childhoods.

Hachiman-bori Canal
Omihachiman city is located in the Koto area on the eastern shore of Lake Biwa in the central Shiga Prefecture. It is a scenic castle town where the blessings of Kokoku (Lake Country) and old and new Western and Japanese culture are alive.
It's a quiet countryside area with not many people around. You can check out some old houses left behind by wealthy families who made their fortunes here.
