Chiba Port Tower
This landmark tower was built in 1986 to commemorate Chiba Prefecture's population surpassing 5 million. Standing approximately 410 feet tall, it was the first building in Japan to feature a dynamic damper weighing a total of 15 metric tons at the top of the tower to counteract swaying.
Perfect spot for night views. Totally worth another visit.

Tsukayama Park
An excavation uncovered settlements from the middle of the Jomon period (about 3,500-4,500 years ago) in this park. You can go inside the pit dwellings reconstructed from historic ruins that show how people lived in the Jomon period. The very unique chairs and trashcans placed in the park are made to imitate earthenware from the Jomon period.
There are also awesome photo spots nearby. Definitely worth a visit!
