The mochi is super soft, and the red bean paste is incredibly smooth. Having Akafuku with a cup of hot tea is the perfect combo—sweet but not too much, just right.

The 3D Cat at Shinjuku East Exit
Located above the East Exit plaza of Shinjuku Station, one of the busiest train stations in the world, the giant 3D calico cat peers down at passersby in a dynamic video display. Since its debut in July 2021, the lifelike, seemingly popping-out 3D cat has captured widespread attention and has been featured in both domestic and international media.
The screen is massive, and it looks even more high-tech at night. The cat really grabs your attention—the 3D effect is so realistic! Watching it walk around and meow is super lively.

Genshichi Roten no Yu (Outdoor Hot Spring)
Zao Hot Spring is said to have been found in AD 110 and beloved for almost 1900 years. This bathhouse offers a place to stop by and enjoy the hot spring of Zao. The water is strongly acidic and sulfuric which is effective to rejuvenate the skin and blood vessels as well as improving skin’s antiseptic properties and strengthening the skin, cherished as “the Beauty Water” since ancient days.
I really love Genshichi Roten no Yu! I visited during the autumn leaves season, and the sulfur hot spring flows directly from the source. The spring water comes straight from the mountain top—so nice!

Nihonbashi
Nihonbashi is located in the northern part of Chuo-ku, Tokyo. The name "Nihonbashi" comes from the bridge built across a canal in 1603, and the year Tokugawa Ieyasu established the Edo shogunate.
Nihonbashi COREDO is a shopping paradise. Tons of great food and unique little shops. It's the perfect place for a shopping spree in Tokyo.
