This Japanese garden has such an amazing vibe! The scenery is beautiful in every season—cherry blossoms in spring, colorful leaves in autumn, all set against traditional architecture. The whole place is super clean and comfortable to walk around. There are streams, stone lanterns, little bridges—perfect for a relaxing stroll. If you love taking photos or just want a quiet spot to unwind, this place is a huge plus!

Kuroyuri
Founded in 1953, Kuroyuri is a long-established eatery where you can enjoy Kanazawa-style oden, Kaga regional cuisine, and local sake. It is conveniently located inside Kanazawa Hyakubangai Anto, directly connected to Kanazawa Station.
They specialize in oden. The broth is super clear but packed with flavor—not overly salty, just the kind that gets more addictive the more you eat.
The daikon was seriously soaked through. One bite and it just burst with broth—so satisfying on a cold day. 🍢 The vibe is a bit old-school, and it gets crowded with both tourists and locals. Expect to wait in line during peak hours.
It’s not cheap, but the portion sizes and taste make it worth it. -
Mt. Takao Beer Mount
This beer garden is open from June to October at the observation platform on Mt. Takao. At 488m above sea level, you can look over to the Tokyo Skytree on a clear day.
The view from the whole place is great. Watching the sunset with the Tokyo nightscape is really romantic. The all-you-can-eat and drink setup is a fantastic deal, with plenty of food and lots of choices.

Nagoya Castle
One of the largest castles in Japan, built in the early Edo period on the orders of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Edo shogunate, the five-story castle tower is topped with shining two Kinshachi, one male and one female that has become a symbol of Nagoya.
A lot of areas are under construction, so I couldn't see everything. That was a bit disappointing.
