The udon noodles are super springy and have a great bite. The broth is light and sweet, not overly salty, and I finished it all without feeling thirsty.

Otaru Sakaimachi Dori Shopping Street
Located just one street away from the main thoroughfare facing the Otaru Canal, Sakaimachi-dori flourished during the Meiji and early Showa periods, becoming Otaru's main street.
This is the busiest street in Otaru. Once you start walking down Sakaimachi Dori, you won't want to leave. The LeTAO cheesecake is a must—so creamy and fragrant, and you can eat it fresh right after buying!

Meiji Jingu Shrine
Meiji Shrine was established in 1920 (Taisho 9) as a shrine to enshrine Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken.
The moment you enter Meiji Jingu Shrine, it feels like you've stepped into a different world. It's so peaceful and soothing!

Fujikyu Unjokaku
Fujikyu Unjokaku is the sought-after mountain lodge found at the Fifth Station stop on the Yoshida Route, the go-to route used by 60% of Fuji hikers.
Soaking in the hot spring early in the morning while watching the sunrise and Mt. Fuji—honestly, you just can't go wrong with that.
