Shiratame Ryokan

Located just about 20 meters from the bridge, this inn in Iwakuni is especially close to Kintaikyo Bridge. Established in the first year of Houei (1704) with the building designated as a cultural property, this Japanese-style inn was built in 1885. Opening the windows of the guest rooms offers views of the Kintaikyo Bridge over the Kinkawa River and Iwakuni Castle, immersing guests in the ambiance of a castle town.

True to its name as a "Kaiseki Ryokan," the inn prides itself on its cuisine, featuring seasonal ingredients primarily sourced locally and meticulously prepared by the chef.
