SUPER DRY MUSEUM
(at Ibaraki Brewery)
Freshly Brewed Beer, Straight from the Brewery. An Immersive Beer Museum for All Five Senses.
Located at Asahi Breweries, Ltd.’s Ibaraki Brewery in Moriya, Ibaraki, SUPER DRY MUSEUM is an interactive facility where visitors can experience the world of Asahi Super Dry, one of Japan’s most iconic beer brands. Here, you can explore the brand’s appeal from multiple angles, including its commitment to quality and freshness and its journey from launch to the present day.
The ASAHI MUSEUM TOUR offers an easy-to-understand look at the world behind beer production, with explanations of the ingredients and brewing process, along with digital effects that let you experience how fermentation works. Another highlight is that, at the end of the approximately 80-minute tour, you can enjoy a tasting of freshly brewed Asahi Super Dry straight from the brewery. Soft drinks such as MITSUYA CIDER are also sometimes served, so even visitors who do not drink alcohol can still enjoy the fun of the museum tour.
Access is also convenient, with a free shuttle bus taking about 10 minutes from Moriya Station. It has become a popular spot where visitors can experience Japanese manufacturing and beverage culture with all five senses.
