The indoor exhibition hall has a permanent display of mammoth specimens, fossils, and minerals that are symbolic of the past. The outdoor facility exhibit boasts an area about 3.5 times the size of the Tokyo Dome. It is dotted with spots and plazas that are ideal for various fieldwork. At the "Dragonfly Pond," made of natural spring water, you can observe wet and aquatic plants, small animals, and aquatic life. There is also the "Ancient Square Playground" where you can explore the environment and life in ancient times, and the "Sorimachi Komon Bridge," a valuable civil engineering heritage built in the Meiji era to prevent the Tone River from flowing backward, waiting for you.
