Le Jardin des Sens
Exquisite French cuisine where Toyama ingredients harmonize with the chef's masterful techniques.
After honing his skills in France for many years and working alongside three-Michelin-starred chefs, Noriyuki Komuro returned to Japan and opened this restaurant in his hometown of Toyama. Despite its central Toyama City location, the restaurant's park-side setting feels like a secluded retreat, offering a refined and relaxing atmosphere.
Three course options are available for both lunch and dinner. Each centers on local ingredients raised and grown with groundwater flowing from the Tateyama Mountain Range into Toyama Bay, including firefly squid, Tateyama Wagyu beef, and seasonal vegetables. The chef combines seasonal ingredients with techniques refined through years of experience and a free-flowing imagination, creating dishes that convey both the season and his originality. Dietary allergies and disliked ingredients can also be accommodated with advance notice.
Advance reservations are required for lunch, dinner, and afternoon tea. In addition to table seating, semi-private rooms are available, making the restaurant suitable for important gatherings such as anniversaries and formal family meetings.
