My schedule in Ginza was pretty tight this time, so I only bought chocolate ganache cookies on the first floor of Shiseido Parlour and didn’t get to sit down and try their signature omurice. That was a bit of a shame.

The chocolate ganache cookies came in elegant packaging that felt luxurious just holding it. First you get the crisp texture of the cookie, followed by the rich, smooth chocolate ganache, giving it plenty of layers. The chocolate is rich but not overly sweet, with a sophisticated, grown-up flavor that’s perfect for savoring slowly!

When people hear Shiseido, they usually think of the well-known skincare and cosmetics brand, but Ginza is also home to the unique Shiseido Parlour, which specializes in elegant desserts and gifts. If you're buying a gift, you can ask the staff to wrap it for free, and the packaging is very lavish and beautiful. There is also a restaurant inside where you can enjoy desserts and dishes in an elegant retro atmosphere. The restaurant is quite popular, so it's best to arrive early to get seated sooner.

When we went to the cafe, it was a holiday and the line was super long, so we decided not to wait. Instead, we bought their signature Hanatsubaki cookies from another floor to take home. These cookies have been around for 80 years—they have a buttery, wheat flavor and come in beautiful packaging. They're great as gifts.

The seats are spaced out well, so it doesn't feel crowded. The prices are a bit high, but the food is honestly delicious. Highly recommended!
