As soon as you step out of the station, there’s a bronze statue of Tora-san. It really has the feel of an old Japanese movie and a lot of nostalgic charm.

The moment you step onto the approach, it really has that old Tokyo vibe. Time feels like it slows down, and it’s perfect to pair with a visit to the temple to pray.
The vibe along this street is super chill. It feels like an old town, but without that overly touristy feel. The street isn't very long, but it's perfect for a slow stroll—grabbing bites and checking out the shops as you go.
Taishakuten Sando—you can't miss Takagiya, the long-established shop! Their famous Kusadango from Katsushika is just so delicious.
