Walking toward Tenryuji, the path is filled with people heading to Togetsukyo Bridge. Passing through this dense bamboo grove is really impressive.

The bamboo forest is so lush. I really miss this place!

The bamboo on both sides is so dense that only a narrow strip of sky is visible. You can spot rickshaws here, and some people even arrive by taxi.

Just follow the crowd after leaving the train station and you'll end up at Kyoto's famous bamboo grove trail.

I took the sightseeing train from Kameoka Station to Sagano. Right outside the station is the peaceful bamboo grove trail, and right next to the path is the World Heritage site, Tenryu-ji Temple.
