Nakano Beer Workshop
"Nakano Beer Factory" is a "beer shop in town". The brewery offers a wide variety of craft beers brewed in the brewery. The beers are limited editions that cannot be found anywhere else, such as hoppy beers and beers made with seasonal ingredients, making it a place you will want to return to again and again.
If you love beer, you can't miss this place~ All the beers here are handcrafted, super fresh, and really tasty.
Starbucks Coffee Dazaifu Tenmangu Omotesando Store
Starbucks Coffee Dazaifu Tenmangu Omotesando Store opened in 2011, right next to the torii gate facing the Omotesando Avenue of Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. This is one of the "Regional Landmark Stores," originally designed by Starbucks in iconic locations throughout Japan to promote the attractive local culture to the rest of the world.
Just taking photos outside doesn't do it justice. The interior design was inspired by the Japanese wooden toy Cidori, with 2,000 wooden slats stretching all the way to the garden at the back. The deep space inside is even more captivating.
Tokyo Tonkotsu Base Made by Ippudo, Ecute Shinagawa Branch
This restaurant is produced by Hakata Ippudo, a famous restaurant that introduced Hakata tonkotsu ramen, a local dish representing Fukuoka Prefecture, to the global culinary scene. With the theme of "Exploring the Diversity of Tonkotsu Ramen," The menu showcases an array of unique tonkotsu ramen options, each with its own distinctive twist innovated in Tokyo.
Ippudo's tonkotsu broth is the main star here. There's the classic white tonkotsu, a soy sauce-infused black version, and even a spicy miso red one. Great spot if you like trying different flavors!
Nogawa Tofu Shop
Located near the entrance of Ginzan Onsen, right beside the "Warashi-yu Foot Bath," is the original Ginzan tofu store. The shop looks like a traditional home, with a "Tofu Shop" sign as a landmark, and it was once a barbershop next door.
The tofu here is delicious! You can also dine inside the house across from the tofu shop. Eating hot tofu on a cold day feels so comforting and happy.
Izu no Hana
Located in "Ginzan Onsen", known since the Edo period as a renowned hot spring, this place first opened its doors as a town diner in Showa 27 (1957). In 2013, it underwent renovations, transforming a 140-year-old traditional home, and reopened in its current location as both a cafe and eatery.
This place uses soba flour from Obanazawa—Mogami Wase variety—for their noodles. It's really unique!
Sarasa Nishijin
This cafe is inside the renovated Fujimori Onsen, a bathhouse that operated until 1998. Using the excellence of the previous venue, it re-opened as the second store of “Sarasa” in 2000. Sarasa currently has 6 cafes across Kyoto city. Its environment evokes a Kyoto-like scenery within Nishin town.
Sarasa Nishijin is a great Kyoto cafe located in the Nishijin area, which is also famous as the birthplace of high-quality Japanese textiles.
Cafe & Bar Hemingway Yokohama
Situated by the sea, the Yokohama branch of "Cafe & Bar Hemingway" was inspired by the famous author Ernest Hemingway, best known for his novel "The Old Man and the Sea." From the deck floating over the sea, one can enjoy the view of Minato Mirai and the waters of Yokohama.
This place has some popular dishes... The soup curry is super aromatic with spices, and the bagel French toast is really chewy and tasty.
[Closed Down] Restaurant & Café Ichiroku Saryo
Ichiroku Saryo is the 2nd floor café and restaurant at Ichiroku Honpo where you can taste Ichiroku Tarts, the brand’s acclaimed signature sweet, as well as other sweets and tasty plates.

Enoki-Tei Main Store
Located about a 7-minute walk from the Motomachi-Chukagai station on the Minatomirai subway line, this long-standing patisserie sits atop the hills of Yokohama's Yamate area. The Western-style building constructed in 1927 preserves the charm of Yamate from its days as a foreign settlement, making it a perfect spot to spend an elegant moment.
The current owner's mother was a huge fan of pastries and cooking, and some guests would often be treated by her. It really adds a special touch to the experience.
Ishigaki Beef MARU
A unique yakiniku restaurant with the catchphrase, "We absolutely love yakiniku!" Located about a 10-minute walk from the Remote Island Terminal. The local specialty, Ishigaki beef, is sourced exclusively from local butchers who provide A5 grade or higher beef, which the restaurant then processes in-house. They are committed to thorough quality control, ensuring the safe and trustworthy provision of meat.
