The moment you walk in, it feels super dreamy—like you’re literally in a fairy tale.
You’re definitely going to buy souvenirs here. My wallet didn’t stand a chance.

Shinagawa Aquarium
Opened in 1991 inside Shinagawa Kumin Park, which sits right next to the canal, this aquarium is themed around “Connecting with the Sea and Rivers.” It features around 4,000 sea creatures from approx 450 species. Through shows and seasonal events, you can get up close with the fish, observe them, and learn more about their world.
The jellyfish area is really beautiful—you kind of zone out just watching it.
The dolphin show felt like they put real effort into it. Kids will definitely be super excited. -

Flags
This shopping facility is constantly suggesting new lifestyle shifts from various perspectives, including fashion, music, and sports. Here you’ll find flagship stores from popular brands, and there are plenty of fashion choices for both men and women.
That huge screen on the outside really stands out, so it’s easy to spot. The location is unbeatable—right in front of Shinjuku Station—so it’s hard not to just go in.

NEWoMan SHINJUKU
This shopping complex offering direct access from JR Shinjuku Station boasts a variety of carefully selected fine items from around the world. The interior of the facilities was purposefully designed to create a spacious, relaxed atmosphere throughout. Here you will find a variety of restaurants and shops offering anything from fashion, to cosmetics, to miscellaneous goods, and more.
There are crowds, but it’s not so packed that you want to run away. Perfect for when you’re tired of walking around Shinjuku and want to switch up the vibe.
