Kenrokuen is one of Japan’s Three Great Gardens, with scenery that has its own character in every season. The garden design is refined and elegant.
As you stroll through, you can enjoy the beauty of the ponds, old pine trees, and teahouses, and really take in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese garden. It’s wonderfully refreshing.

Hakodate Bugyosho
Hakodate Magistrate’s Office faithfully recreates the Edo Shognate’s security base around Japan’s northern territory. It is built at the original location in the former Goryokaku (the star-shaped fort), using as much similar skills and provisions as those in the Edo Period, such as pine beams, Bingo tatami mats or sliding doors with hand-made paper.
When I saw the Hakodate Magistrate's Office in Hakodate, I felt a strong sense of history. The traditional building made me feel as if I had traveled back to old Japan, and I could also imagine how people lived and worked at the time. This visit gave me a deeper understanding of Japanese history and culture, and I thought it was an experience well worth having.

Tokyo Tower
Tokyo Tower was born in 1958. When it was built, Tokyo Tower proudly stood out as the tallest steel tower in the world. At a height of 33 meters, it was taller than the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It is located in Minato Ward in the center of Tokyo. Take in sweeping views of the city from the observation deck. Currently under renovation, it is always changing.
When I saw Tokyo Tower, I felt very surprised and moved. It rises high above the city and looks very impressive, creating a unique sight with the surrounding buildings. Seeing the famous Tokyo Tower in person made this trip even more unforgettable and left me with lasting memories.

Engetsu Island
A landmark of the Nanki-Shirahama area, familiar as the subject of paintings, photographs, and postage stamps. The official name is “Takashima” but it’s commonly called “Engetsu-jima” because of the sea cave (hole) near the center of the island.
What impressed me was the naturally formed circular sea cave in the center of the island, set against the endless ocean. The scenery was very distinctive. Especially around sunset, the sun slowly shone through the opening, creating a beautiful silhouette that really made me want to stop, admire it, and take photos. The sea breeze felt very pleasant, and the whole atmosphere was relaxing and romantic.
