Keiō 1DAY Ticket
Keio Corporation operates a rail network that spans Tokyo and extends to neighboring prefectures. The company's "Keio 1DAY Ticket" can be purchased from automated ticket machines at all stations, starting from the first train of the day. (Note: Sales times are limited. If no information is displayed on the ticket machine screen, please ask a station member.) If purchased on the same day, you can use this pass for unlimited rides on both the Keio and Inokashira lines.
It was my first time going to Mt. Takao, and getting this 1-day pass made everything so much easier and saved me money!

Mt. Otowa Kiyomizu-dera Temple
Opened in the year 778, the temple was registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1994. In the 130, 000 m2 area of the precincts spread out on the hillside of Mt. Otowa, there are more than 30 cathedrals and monuments, including national treasures and important cultural properties.
I've been here many times with tour groups, but the visits are always too short. Next time, I want to plan a free day to really enjoy it! 😁

iZoo, the hands-on animal center!
This zoo specializes in rare reptiles and amphibians you won’t find elsewhere in Japan. In addition the country’s largest reptile and amphibian habitat, there are over 300 species of snakes, lizards and turtles to see at this wildlife nursery and center.
Crocodiles, lizards, turtles—this zoo is all about reptiles! There's also a hands-on area, which makes it really interesting!
