The 3D Cat at Shinjuku East Exit
Located above the East Exit plaza of Shinjuku Station, one of the busiest train stations in the world, the giant 3D calico cat peers down at passersby in a dynamic video display. Since its debut in July 2021, the lifelike, seemingly popping-out 3D cat has captured widespread attention and has been featured in both domestic and international media.
Seeing it for the first time really made me freeze for a second.
I was just thinking, that cat looks way too real. -

ACAO FOREST
Spanning an impressive 200,000 tsubo of hillside terrain, ACAO FOREST is a resort park made up of 13 unique gardens and scattered art installations. With sweeping views of the deep “Atami Blue” Pacific Ocean, visitors can stroll among seasonal blooms while also enjoying outdoor artworks that enrich the landscape.
The park is huge! You can walk through and see different themed gardens along the way, with flowers blooming in every season. If you make it up the hill, you'll get a stunning ocean view—perfect for photos. It's a great spot to spend a relaxing and romantic afternoon just strolling around! 🌹

Kamikochi
Kamikochi offers one of Japan's most spectacular mountain sceneries. Its magnificent landscape is designated as a Special Natural Monuments along with Special Places of Scenic Beauty. Walter Weston, a British Anglican missionary praised Kamikochi in his writing “Mountaineering and Exploration in the Japan Alps” in 1896 which made Kamikochi an internationally well-known mountain area.
Beautiful mountains and water.
Feels like a paradise on earth, almost otherworldly.
