MUNAKATA OSHIMA RESORT
MUNAKATA OSHIMA RESORT enjoys an open, scenic setting overlooking the Genkai Sea. Guests can choose from seven standalone units: four private villas and three glamping domes. Options include a villa that accommodates up to eight guests, allowing you to choose according to your group size and preferred style of stay.
What impressed me most at MUNAKATA OSHIMA RESORT was the endless view of the Genkai Sea. The water was a beautiful blue, and with the white clouds in the sky, the whole scene was truly soothing. Sitting on the outdoor terrace with the sea breeze, I didn't have to do anything—it was relaxing just to quietly gaze at the ocean.

Tendo City Shogi Museum
Shogi (Japanese chess) is gaining popularity as a result of Sota Fujii's exciting breakthrough. Tendo City is a shogi mecca, producing over 90% of all shogi boards and pieces in Japan. Tsume-shogi moves are depicted on the station plaza and sidewalks, and bridges and manholes are also decorated with shogi pieces.
Shogi pieces are made from boxwood, and after applying washi paper, craftsmen carve each one by hand without any drafts. Their technique is so skilled—the characters are always neat, powerful, and perfectly sized.

Kyoto Gyoen
The premises has the Kyoto Imperial Palace at the center in which Meiji Emperor lived until he moved to Edo, surrounded by the town where the homes of aristocrats lined up. In Meiji Period, the premises were turned into the Kyoto Gyoen Park. Kyoto Imperial Palace and Kyoto Sento Imperial Palace are still used by the imperial families.
The imperial palace gardens are huge, and every area is really well maintained and clean.
