The caricature booth at Canal City Hakata is super cute! The art style is warm and unique, and the artists are really friendly. The finished portraits look just like you, with a touch of humor. Perfect as a souvenir or a gift!

Ganso Hakata Mentaiju Nishinakasu
Set in Nishinakasu, the hot-spot district for top-tier restaurants and unbeatable eats, this specialty restaurant is the original establishment that transformed Fukuoka’s famous mentaiko (spicy cod roe) from a souvenir into a full-fledged dining experience.
The mentaiko is savory and goes perfectly with rice, and the grilled eel is an amazing combo! The flavors are so layered. The atmosphere is upscale yet comfortable. Definitely recommend making a reservation!

Tsunoshima Bridge
The Tsunoshima Bridge opened in 2000. The bridge connects the mainland side of Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, with the remote island of Tsunoshima. With a total length of 1,780 meters, it is one of the longest bridges over a remote island in Japan that can be crossed for free.
The way the sky and sea blend together is just stunning. The view is truly unforgettable.

Shibuya Stream
This 35-floor high-rise building houses offices and businesses, and it was built in 2018 by redeveloping the former platform of Shibuya Station’s Toyoko Line, the area around the tracks, and the area around the Shibuya River.
This was my first time staying at the Shibuya Tokyu Hotel. The facilities are really new since it was just built recently. The windows are huge, so you get a great view of the Shibuya cityscape. The location is unbeatable—just step out of the station and you're there.
