Naha Main Place, located in Omoromachi, the new center of Naha City, is the largest shopping mall in the city, operated by Okinawa's largest supermarket "SAN-A". In addition to the "Food Hall" that handles fresh food, the mall is constantly bustling with about 120 specialty stores, including "EDION" home electronics, "Tokyu Hands" large general merchandise store, "Cinema Q" 9-screen cinema complex, as well as fashion and gourmet stores.
It is also well known as a duty-free store for non-residents of Japan and Japanese living abroad. Popular items for foreign tourists such as electronics, bags, and cosmetics are eligible for duty-free shopping, and there is also a dedicated duty-free cash register in the food hall, which is very convenient when purchasing souvenirs.
