The original home of Kichijoji’s famous “Original Round Menchi Katsu,” with lines every day.

The “Original Round Menchi Katsu” is known for its perfectly round shape and is the shop’s signature item, with an incredible Approx. 5,000 sold each day.
Made with 100% domestic beef, it has a satisfyingly meaty texture. Slow cooking locks in the flavor, and one bite releases a burst of juicy meat juices. It is also packed with coarsely chopped domestic onions sourced from contracted farmers, giving it a pleasant sweetness. The frying oil is pork lard made in-house. It fries up light and crisp, so it never feels heavy, and you may find yourself eating more than one.

Another recommended item is the handmade “Geki Uma Croquette.” It combines beef and onions with Hokkaido potatoes that are at their best in that season. The president personally checks the flavor every time, showing the shop’s dedication. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, it is popular with people of all ages.
