AUBERGE YUSURA

A Japanese-style auberge in Futami, overlooking Ise Bay and limited to five parties per day. Guests can savor cuisine made with ingredients from Ise-Shima, relax in the hot springs, and enjoy a private retreat.

The property has five guest villas: Keyaki, Hinoki, Kaede, Sakura, and Tochi. Each is housed in a separate building and offers its own distinctive atmosphere. Keyaki features a private garden, Sakura has an airy interior filled with light from its high ceiling, and Tochi offers picturesque views of a pond and Japanese garden, allowing guests to choose the villa that best suits their preferences. Every villa has an open-air bath supplied with water from Sakakibara Onsen, renowned for its skin-beautifying properties. The indoor baths feature Kiso cypress tubs, where guests can unwind surrounded by the soothing fragrance of wood.

Dinner features kaiseki cuisine prepared with local ingredients, including Mie’s renowned Matsusaka beef and produce from the mountains and waters of Ise-Shima. A selection of beverages that complement the cuisine, including local sake, is also available. Breakfast includes freshly cooked rice served in a traditional clay pot, piping-hot miso soup, and dishes made with locally caught fish.
