Goryokaku Tower is one of Hakodate's most iconic landmarks. From the observation deck, you can clearly see the distinctive star-shaped fort in Goryokaku Park, and the view from above is truly spectacular.

On this visit to Goryokaku Tower, I looked down from the observation deck and took in the entire five-pointed-star-shaped moat and lush green park. The exhibits on the observation deck also helped me learn more about the history of Goryokaku and the Battle of Hakodate.

Kanazawa Station's Drum Gate is truly impressive! The enormous wooden gate was inspired by traditional Noh drums, and its design is distinctly Kanazawa. Paired with the transparent glass Hospitality Dome, it beautifully blends tradition and modernity.

On this visit to Kanazawa Station, I especially enjoyed taking photos in front of the Drum Gate. It feels different from every angle. During the day, sunlight shining on the glass roof gives it a modern look, while at night, the lights add a romantic atmosphere. It's a great place to take travel photos.

Kanazawa Station isn't just a place to catch a train; it's like a work of architecture worth admiring in its own right. After visiting in person, I felt Kanazawa's unique cultural charm from the moment I arrived at the station, and the city left a deep impression on me.

The Hakodate Magistrate’s Office is located in Goryokaku Park. It was an important administrative institution of the Edo shogunate in Hokkaido and is also a representative attraction for learning about Hakodate’s history. The traditional wooden architecture combined with the scenery of Goryokaku makes you feel as if you’ve stepped into a time tunnel through Japanese history.

This time, I went inside the Hakodate Magistrate’s Office and saw the tatami mats, wooden corridors, and traditional rooms. It really had the distinctive features of ancient Japanese architecture. Through the exhibits and explanations, I also learned more about the history of the shogunate in Hokkaido at the time, as well as stories related to the Battle of Hakodate.

The entire park is surrounded by green trees, creating a beautiful contrast with the surrounding cityscape and making you want to take photos to remember it.

This time, I visited Goryokaku Park in person and took a leisurely walk along the paths of the star-shaped fortress, enjoying the moat and natural scenery while taking in the historic atmosphere of the site. Walking through the spacious grounds was very pleasant, and I could also experience Hakodate’s unique cultural charm.

Shurijo Castle Park is one of Okinawa’s most iconic historical attractions. As soon as you enter the grounds, you can feel the strong culture of the Ryukyu Kingdom. The red gates and traditional architecture are very distinctive and quite different from typical Japanese castles. There are beautiful photo opportunities all along the way.

This time, I visited in person and took a leisurely walk through the castle ruins, admiring the vermilion buildings and surrounding scenery while also learning quite a bit about the history of the Ryukyu Kingdom. Although some buildings are being reconstructed, you can still sense Shurijo Castle’s former splendor and importance.

Universal Studios Japan is a very popular theme park in Osaka, with many exciting rides and movie-themed settings. As soon as you enter, you can feel the cheerful atmosphere everywhere. Each area has its own unique features, making you want to keep exploring and taking photos nonstop.

What I was looking forward to most this time was The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Walking into Hogwarts Castle was truly breathtaking, as if I had suddenly stepped into the magical world of the movies. Seeing the familiar streets, shops, and magical scenes—and even trying Butterbeer—made the whole experience very fun and brought back so many childhood memories.

Okinawa World is an attraction with a lot of distinctive Okinawan character. In the park, you can enjoy traditional Ryukyuan culture, a limestone cave, and old-fashioned streetscapes. Just walking through it gives you a strong sense of the local character. The entire park is filled with nature and culture, giving you a deeper understanding of Okinawa.

During this visit, what impressed me most was Gyokusendo Cave. Seeing the spectacular stalactites inside really made me feel how amazing nature is. Along the way, you can also admire traditional Ryukyuan architecture and experience traditional Okinawan culture. The whole experience was very interesting.

This trip made me feel that Okinawa World is more than just a tourist attraction; it's more like a short cultural journey through Okinawa. You can experience everything from natural scenery to traditional ways of life all in one place. It's both fun and educational, making it a stop well worth adding to your itinerary.

Okinawa's American Village is a popular attraction filled with American-style charm. The streets are lined with distinctive shops, restaurants, cafes, and colorful art installations, making it feel like you've stepped into a neighborhood in another country.

During this visit, what I liked most was the variety of architectural styles and cute displays everywhere. Even just walking around, there are plenty of great photo opportunities. When you get tired, you can stop at a restaurant for some food or a drink and leisurely enjoy the Okinawan sunshine and sea breeze.

American Village is even more beautiful in the evening. After the sun slowly sets, the street lights gradually come on, creating an even more romantic atmosphere. This trip wasn't just about shopping; I also got to experience Okinawa's unique American culture. It's a place that feels both relaxing and vibrant.

Naminoue Shrine is one of Naha, Okinawa's most iconic shrines. What makes it especially unique is that it was built on a seaside cliff, and from a distance, it looks as if it's floating above the deep blue sea. The scenery is very beautiful. During this visit, I climbed the steps to worship at the shrine and felt its solemn yet peaceful atmosphere. Afterward, I took a walk on the nearby beach, enjoying the sea breeze and ocean view. It made me feel completely relaxed.

At Kitaro Chaya near Jindaiji Temple, the cute and familiar yokai displays outside immediately made me take out my phone to snap some photos. The whole place is filled with touches from GeGeGe no Kitaro. Once inside, you can see elements of the characters everywhere, from the decor and food to the merchandise. It feels like stepping into Kitaro’s world. Besides trying the themed desserts, I also browsed the merchandise, and everything was fun and great for photos. After experiencing it in person, I found it very playful and charming. It’s not just anime fans who will enjoy it—even regular travelers can have a lot of fun. It’s well worth stopping by when visiting the Jindaiji area.
