This time, I made a special trip to Soup Curry Garaku. The restaurant is very popular, and while dining there, you could tell that many people had come because of its reputation. Unlike the usual thick Japanese curry, soup curry has a lighter broth with a more noticeable spice flavor, and you can choose the spice level based on your preference.

When the food arrived, the generous variety of toppings was the first thing that caught my eye. It came with all kinds of vegetables and well-seasoned stewed meat, making it look like a very hearty meal. The vegetables retained their texture, and soaking up the spiced curry broth made them even more flavorful. Each bite had the taste of a different ingredient. The broth was rich and aromatic, with a mildly spicy depth, and it went very well with white rice. I got to try one of Hokkaido's signature dishes this time. Overall, it was pretty good and left a strong impression!
