Naminoue Shrine is one of Naha, Okinawa's most iconic shrines. What makes it especially unique is that it was built on a seaside cliff, and from a distance, it looks as if it's floating above the deep blue sea. The scenery is very beautiful. During this visit, I climbed the steps to worship at the shrine and felt its solemn yet peaceful atmosphere. Afterward, I took a walk on the nearby beach, enjoying the sea breeze and ocean view. It made me feel completely relaxed.

New Chitose Airport
This is the largest airport in Hokkaido which spans Chitose and Tomakomai Cities. With the excellent access to the cities, it is called the aerial gate to Hokkaido. On the two 3000m-long runways, international aircrafts take off and land 24 hours a day.
The last stop on our Hokkaido trip was New Chitose Airport! I originally thought the airport was just a place to catch a flight, but I didn’t expect there to be so many stores to browse. It’s the perfect place to do some final souvenir shopping. From Hokkaido-exclusive snacks, cookies, and chocolates to all kinds of popular desserts and local specialties, there’s such a wide selection that I didn’t want to leave!
There are many well-known Hokkaido souvenir brands here, such as Shiroi Koibito, LeTAO, and ROYCE’ Nama Chocolate. They all make great gifts for friends and family.

Kitaichi Glass Building No. 3
Kitaichi Glass Building No. 3 is a renowned glass shop in Otaru, popular as a tourist destination. The shop showcases a wide variety of glass products, including original designs, organized into three themed floors: the Japanese Floor, the Western Floor, and the Country Floor. From tableware and glasses to oil lamps and accessories, the selection is both diverse and enchanting. The shop itself is housed in a historic stone building originally built as a fishery warehouse in 1891, adding to its charm.
There is a wide variety of glass crafts inside. The clear glass sparkles under the lights, and there are also many colorful designs that are both beautiful and refined. Otaru is known for its glass craftsmanship, and you can really appreciate the appeal of the local craft here. If you like delicate little items, this is also a great place to pick out a few as souvenirs or gifts for friends and family.

Aqua City Odaiba
Situated next to Odaiba Marine Park and offering a stunning view of the city center across the Rainbow Bridge, this large shopping complex is a prime location in Odaiba. The shopping zone, characterized by its casual fashion suitable for the refreshing sea breeze, is home to around 60 stores. In addition, it boasts Odaiba's largest gourmet zone, with a diverse range of restaurants offering Japanese, Western, Chinese, Italian cuisines, and more.
If you're visiting Odaiba, I highly recommend adding AQUA CiTY to your itinerary. You can enjoy shopping, dining, and ocean views all in one place! Nearby attractions such as Odaiba Marine Park and DiverCity Tokyo Plaza can also be visited along the way. Shop during the day, watch the ocean at sunset, and then enjoy the captivating night view to make your trip to Odaiba even more fulfilling!
