After getting off the bus at “Hachiko Exit,” you can spot the eye-catching SHIBUYA 109 almost immediately, so it’s very convenient to get to. It was once a major birthplace of Japan’s gyaru culture and youth fashion, and the building is filled with clothing, accessories, and beauty brands aimed at younger shoppers. The overall atmosphere is lively and trendy. Personally, I wouldn’t go out of my way to include it in my itinerary anymore, but if you’re visiting Tokyo for the first time, I still recommend taking a look inside and experiencing Shibuya’s youthful fashion culture.

The “Yurakucho ITOCiA” commercial complex stands in front of the ticket gates of JR Yurakucho Station. The Yurakucho Marui fashion mall occupies the first through eighth floors.
Yurakucho Marui combines fashion, lifestyle goods, and dining in a comfortable shopping environment filled with greenery. Its biggest feature is its active promotion of subcultures, with a large area dedicated to anime and gaming events. It frequently hosts pop-up exhibitions and themed events featuring popular IPs. There was even a pop-up café featuring beautiful girl characters before, but unfortunately, I missed it. It was a shame.
