It's super crowded here, and it actually feels like there are more foreigners than Japanese people...
But I was so lucky to spot something from Evangelion! 🍀

Hakata Hanamidori Nishinakasu Branch
Hakata Hanamidori Nishinakasu Branch is a renowned restaurant specializing in mizutaki, a traditional hot-pot dish that represents Hakata cuisine. Founded by a chicken wholesaler, the restaurant exclusively uses its own premium-brand chicken, "Hanamidori," which is carefully raised in fresh air, abundant sunlight, and fed specially-formulated feed, resulting in tender, flavorful meat without any unpleasant odors.
The chicken is amazingly tender and juicy—no dryness at all, and it bursts with flavor! The chicken meatballs are a must-try too: firm, a bit bouncy, and super addictive.

Kawasaki Azalea
From its East Exit, a huge shopping mall extends beneath Kawasaki Station, connecting the area to places like the City Hall and La Cittadella shopping complex. A variety of shops surround the Sunlight Square and Humming Garden, located in the center of this building.
There are tons of restaurants to choose from, and they've all been recently renovated.

[Closed Down] HACHIYA
The cafe itself looks like a small traditional Japanese-style restaurant on the outside, and inside they have a modern-style decor with an eye-catching original wall design based on Japanese pines.
You don't need to go through a lot of formalities to enjoy Japanese tea here. At HACHIYA, you can try traditional matcha, sencha, and even seasonal teas.
