Since its founding in 1904, it has served fish dishes made with fresh local fish landed at the market. You can enjoy seafood rice bowls, fishermen's meals, and more at reasonable prices.

The signature dish is the "Kaisendon," a luxurious seafood rice bowl piled high with seven kinds of sashimi. It comes as a satisfying set with miso soup, a small side dish, and the house specialty "Suru-ten" (tempura dried squid). Other popular choices include the "Sashimi Set Meal" made with seasonal local fish, "Oyster Gangan-yaki," which is steamed and grilled on the spot, and the "Oyster Rice Bowl" finished with a special Japanese-style sauce.
