Set in a renovated kura residence once belonging to the prestigious merchant house “Hikaruya,” built in 1887, this authentic French restaurant is led by Executive Chef Masahiro Tanabe. After honing his skills at Michelin-starred restaurants in France and other acclaimed establishments across Europe, he now presents his vision of “Natural French,” showcasing the rich ingredients of local Shinshu. Enjoy inventive French cuisine shaped by perspectives from food education and macrobiotics through exquisite course meals at both lunch and dinner.

It is also known as a member restaurant of Relais & Châteaux, said to be the only one in Nagano Prefecture, and has earned high acclaim worldwide. It was also featured in a world-renowned gourmet guide in both 2024 and 2025.

For lunch, the restaurant offers the “Coup de Lapin” course, with around eight dishes from amuse-bouche to the main course and petit fours after the meal. For dinner, the “Wellness Gastronomy” course features around 13 dishes. For both lunch and dinner, you can also upgrade the main dish to Shinshu beef.
