Matsue Station

A station on the JR Sanin Main Line in central Matsue City, with easy access not only to downtown Matsue but also to famous nearby sightseeing spots such as Matsue Castle and Lake Shinji.

Limited express trains such as the Yakumo and Super Matsukaze stop here, as does the TWILIGHT EXPRESS Mizukaze, which operates in the Sanin, Sanyo, and Lake Biwa areas under the concept of “A hotel traveling through beautiful Japan. Nostalgia within refined quality.” The station also has bus stops for highway buses and airport limousine buses, making it a starting point for many travelers heading to various areas, including the neighboring city of Izumo.
