The 2026 renovation significantly updated the exhibits, adding experiences such as “Building Stone Walls with Kiyomasa,” a giant puzzle that lets you try assembling Kumamoto Castle’s stone walls. There is also an option to dress in period costumes and explore Wakuwakuza and Kumamoto Castle.
On the second floor, “Monogatari Goten” offers programs that introduce the highlights of Kumamoto Castle through short live performances and VR footage. It is a good place to visit before exploring the castle.
