Of course, when in Osaka, you have to try the famous omurice. Hokkyokusei has the strong atmosphere of a long-established Japanese restaurant, and just sitting down makes you feel like you're about to enjoy traditional Osaka cuisine.

The signature omurice looks simple, with a golden egg wrapping fragrant fried rice. It's smooth and tender, and the sweet-and-sour sauce gives it just the right flavor without being too rich!

Osaka's extremely popular Uncle Rikuro's Cheesecake is known for its incredibly soft, soufflé-like texture. Fresh out of the oven, it's light and fluffy and melts in your mouth, with a rich egg flavor and a subtle milky aroma, without feeling heavy at all. The bottom is filled with slightly sweet-and-tart rum-soaked raisins, which cleverly cut through the richness and add another layer of flavor.

Besides eating it hot and fresh, you can also chill it for a firmer, smoother texture and a different taste. A 6-inch cake costs only around JPY 1,000, making it an excellent value and definitely a classic treat you shouldn't miss!

What I liked most was the spacious outdoor area. It was very comfortable to walk around and shop without feeling too crowded. If you're visiting Kobe and want a relaxing itinerary that also includes shopping, Kobe-Sanda Premium Outlets is really worth checking out!

My first impression of Osaka Station City was, “It's really huge, with so much to explore!” As soon as you leave the station, you can feel the lively urban atmosphere. The nearby department stores, shops, and restaurants are all gathered together, making it very convenient to explore!

You can take your time browsing the stores on different floors, and when you get tired, just find a restaurant and grab something to eat. You never have to worry about not knowing where to go. Especially when you look out from the upper floors, the view of downtown Osaka really gives you that big-city feeling!

I love buying local specialty souvenirs when I come to Japan, and this time I tried the shrimp crackers from Bankaku Sohonpo. They were a pleasant surprise! The crackers are thin and crispy, and you can taste the distinct shrimp flavor from the first bite. They're savory and so addictive that it's hard to stop eating them. Although they look simple, they're packed with fresh seafood flavor and go well with either tea or coffee. No wonder they're one of Japan's classic souvenirs. They're great for enjoying yourself or taking home as gifts!

Taking the mountain railway to Hakone-Yumoto Onsen is such a relaxing scenic journey. The train slowly winds through the mountains and forests, with lush greenery and mountain views filling the windows. You can occasionally see the valley too, making it hard to look away from the scenery outside.

After arriving at Hakone-Yumoto, the atmosphere of the hot spring town immediately puts you at ease. Strolling along the streets, you'll find lots of unique shops and food on both sides. Browsing and eating along the way lets you soak up the distinct charm of a Japanese hot spring town.

Of course, you can't miss the famous Hida beef nigiri sushi when you're in Hida! It looked so tempting as soon as I got it, with beautiful, even marbling. The beef was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth without much chewing. Paired with soy sauce and rice, it was full of flavor.

What I liked most was the rich, sweet flavor of the beef fat. It was flavorful without being too greasy, and each piece was just the right size for one bite. You could really taste how delicious Hida beef is.

Riding the Hakone Tozan Railway through the mountains and forests felt very different from taking a regular train. The train slowly made its way along the mountainside, with lush forests and valley views appearing outside the window from time to time, allowing me to leisurely enjoy Hakone's natural scenery.

On the drive to Kouri Ohashi Bridge, I was most excited to see the deep blue ocean come into view. As the car slowly made its way onto the bridge, the ocean views opened up on both sides, with crystal-clear blue water stretching into the distance. It was so beautiful that I couldn't help slowing down to take it all in.

Feeling the sea breeze along the way and looking out at the endless ocean made me feel super relaxed.

Rokkatei's rum raisin butter sandwich cookies are a must-buy in Hokkaido. The outer cookies are crisp, with a rich, smooth butter filling and rum raisins with a subtle hint of alcohol, giving them layers of flavor.
