Omusubi Honnoriya Tokyo Main Store
Carefully crafted omusubi (onigiri), each one gently and thoughtfully shaped by hand.
A specialty shop dedicated to omusubi (onigiri), a beloved Japanese rice ball. One of its key commitments is using Koshihikari rice harvested in the Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture, which is cooked fresh in-store. The secret to its deliciousness lies in allowing the freshly steamed rice to cool slightly before gently shaping it by hand, creating a light and fluffy texture.
Even after cooling, the rice remains soft and tender, making these onigiri perfect for takeout or enjoying on the go.
We are meticulous not only about the rice but also about other ingredients, using flavorful domestically produced seaweed and mineral-rich Okinawan sea salt. We take pride in offering a diverse range of fillings made from seasonal ingredients. We typically have around 14 types of onigiri available at all times, including seasonal limited editions. At the Tokyo Main Store, miso soup that pairs perfectly with the onigiri is also available. Be sure to enjoy it together with your rice balls for the full experience.
Our Tokyo Main Store, located inside JR Tokyo Station Yaesu Central Exit ticket gates, as well as our other branches, are conveniently situated near ticket gates or within the station premises. It is also perfect to enjoy their onigiri while traveling on Shinkansen or express trains.
