Yokohama Takashimaya
Opened in 1959, Yokohama Takashimaya is a long-standing department store directly connected to the west exit of Yokohama Station for easy access that both locals and visitors can love. The mall serves as a convenient gateway to the city and blends timeless architecture with contemporary sophistication.
A colleague from Yokohama gave me “Kurumicco” as a souvenir, and you can buy it at Yokohama Takashimaya. The cookies are filled with nuts and caramel. First, you taste the rich nutty flavor, followed by the sweetness of the caramel. They’re sweet and fragrant without being too rich. The small size is just right, so having one as an afternoon snack doesn’t feel like too much. They’re also great for buying for the office and sharing with coworkers.
